Service (13/9-13)
Hi! Yesterday we had a startup meeting with UCUR for the fall, and because of what happened last weekend with the nazist liege demonstrating in our city, we decided to have a anti-racism approach. We also had a lecturer from Mönsterås, a friend of ours and also a chair man for the Youth Council in his city. He talked about "Dansa mot rasism", a dance festival they arranged this spring where everybody were to show their resistance toward racism by dancing together on the streets.
We invited youths from all over the city in order to show more people what we can do and what we think about racism. Unfortunately, we arranged this with very short notice so not that many showed up, but I still think it was a good thing for the future since many people saw the event on facebook and appreciated the thought.
