Evaulation
My two years at IB are over; the finals are done, the books are returned. Yesterday I had my last day att the school where I've been a tutor, a service that has been very giving during these years and I felt like I really developed as a person by helping younger children with their struggles in school. I'm really going to miss some of the students but I hope that I've managed to help them as much as they've helped me.
On the creative side, I've developed many different sides. I've been drawing, learning more and more how to draw from my imagination instead of only copy down what I see, trying out different techniques such as pencils, water colour, aquarell etc. Other than that I've also developed my skills as a photographer, which one can see most clearly on my other blog (www.flukturans.wordpress.com) where I for example recently made a serie of portraits. I think that creativity has always been a natural part of my every day-life, therefore I like to try out and experience new things within the area. By being openminded it has led me to a lot of opportunities such as acting in a short movie and now; working as a producer for one of the local movie productions in town.
Action is a part of me that does not come as naturally, which is why I think CAS has helped forcing me to explore that side of me. By that I've learned yoga, started running (and more is, actually appreciate running!) and started to play basket ball again, just for fun. It has helped me to have a more consistant and healthy attitude towards sports and excercise.
To sum things up I believe that CAS has really been helpful even though annoying at times, since one is more or less forced to actually keep up with creativity, action and service, not only once or twice but on regular basis. Just because school is now over does not mean I will stop doing things that can be related to CAS, which might be the whole point of the subject.
